About Our Pet Care

Wags & Whiskers provides personalized service to meet your pet's individual needs. If your dog needs social outings with other dogs, we can take your dogs to a local dog park for play time. This includes transportation to the park and supervision. Currently we use the Upland, Claremont, and Etiwanda Dog Parks.

We can also make mid-day stops by your home to give your pooch medication if necessary, loving attention and a potty break. If you work long hours and would like for your pet to get exercies, we do dog-walking in your own neighborhood. Each dog walking session is done exclusively with your dogs and no others. We do not do group dog walking sessions.

In addition to these services, we are also experienced in administering a variety of medication for dogs and cats. Our services also include care for small animals such as hamsters, gerbils, guinne pigs and other furry pets. Fish and birds are also under our care. We do not offer care for snakes or reptiles requiring live food.

Pet-Sitting is generally done in your own home in order to provide your pet with a sense of comfort about being in a familiar setting. This eliminates any concern about contagious illnesses your pet may be exposed to in a kennel. Each pet-sitting visit includes thirty minutes of play time, a walk, or a combination of the two; as well as food, water, and treats for your pet. Special arrangements can be made with your sitter for lighting adjustments, radio, or music if you pet enjoys these things. We are also happy to provide a daily note or phone call if you are concerned and would like to know how your pet is doing.

Initial Consultation

When you call Wags & Whiskers we will arrange for a complimentary visit to your home (if within 10 miles of our home office; otherwise there will be a charge of $20).

We will:

• Meet and greet you and your pet(s)
• Get detailed information about caring for your pets and your home
• Get veterinary release signature
• Pick up door key
• Complete a service agreement
• Decide how often you want your sitter to visit each day and what services you want performed
